‘The Line’ is a new mixed-use, transit-oriented development that visually and physically opens up to Charlotte’s popular South End neighborhood. An ideal setting for work-life integration, the tower introduces a retail floor featuring local dining and entertainment experiences, accessible greenspaces, and enhanced connections to the Lynx light rail and pedestrian trail. The building’s significant 55-foot deep office floor plate provides dynamic workspace opportunities. To accommodate 700 parking spots without diminishing the community-centric feel of the space, the design team carved each parking level out of the facade to create a pedestrian friendly scale and engaging experience at the ground level.
