After a fire destroyed the original gymnasium, the local community came together to help the church to rebuild. In a phased project, three buildings are set to be constructed. The gymnasium, is first building to be replaced with a new 11,700 SF structure, equipped with basketball court, batting caged and accessible toilet rooms. Also a new 2,100 SF sanctuary with tiered seating, classrooms, training rooms, and a gazebo will incorporate some of the existing structure. The gymnasium is the hub of the community offering Friday night skate nights for teenagers on the Outer Banks.
