Situated on a mountainside with views overlooking downtown Asheville, the Mayflower residence, originally constructed in the 1970’s was a complete renovation from its original configuration. The solid foundation and asymmetrical roofline were kept intact while the interior spaces were revised to fit the client’s lifestyle. With entry on the lower level through a square pivot door, you are directed to an elegant staircase leading to the main living areas. Cantilevered steel beams support the viewing deck’s roof and allow for a view unobstructed by support columns.
