The Smoky Mountain Adventure Center (SMAC) is a regional one-stop destination spot for indoor and outdoor adventure. Located in Asheville’s growing River Arts District (RAD), this new facility features a 34-foot indoor climbing wall, a fitness area, yoga and Tai Chi classes, and offers coffee, tea, smoothies and local brews to be enjoyed at the bar or on the wrap-around deck overlooking the French Broad River. Outdoor activities with partner companies operating out of SMAC include boat and tube rentals, stand-up boards and bike rentals.
