Architect: Szostak Design Inc
Location: Chapel Hill, NC
The project consists of 59 condo units, common spaces, a public plaza, as well as nature trails that will allow for enjoyment of its wooded site. We prioritized sustainable planning, natural ventilation, daylighting, and renewable energy. The project will be a wood-framed structure, feature plenty of operable glazing, and have a solar-ready roof. In keeping with Chapel Hill's goals for affordable housing, eight of the units will be affordable. The project consists of three volumes connected by exterior circulation, the street-facing volumes are four stories, while the volume facing 54 will be five stories, featuring two-story units.
