Steven's Creek Nature Preserve utilizes its 275-acre site and its abundance of natural amenities through various programs and nature trails. One significant goal of the project was to minimize land disturbance and integrate the building with the environment. Naturalized berms and rain gardens serve as just a few of the integrated educational tools to help teach children about water cycles and creek health. The Nature Center includes community meeting rooms, youth classrooms, offices, a technology and education center, as well as a warming kitchen. The building draws visitors in then encourages them to learn more about their enviornment outside.
