In the heart of the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter for biomedical sciences, the Bailey Park amphitheater and amenities building serves as a beacon for surrounding scientists, doctors, students, and the broader community. Bailey Park is a multifaceted facility accommodating a range of events from outdoor yoga, concerts, and a summer movie series. The structures form and materiality are inspired by the historical surroundings of the RJR Tobacco Company with lean-to tobacco barn vernacular. The amenities building and transformable amphitheater frame the northern park entry on the corner of 5^th and Patterson as a destination point in downtown Winston-Salem.
