The Art for Art’s Sake (AFAS) Center for the Arts is the culmination of two projects: ARTivity, a dynamic urban art park and a 3-story building dedicated to the advancement of the arts. Together they have worked in unison to provide unique spaces for the non-profit to uphold their mission, “To Build, Educate, and Celebrate Community Through Art.” To further facilitate their arts based outreach, AFAS wanted to construct a building that could house their programmatic needs while also serving as a holistic “art campus” open to the community both inside and out.
