EY’s Charlotte wavespace^TM is a celebration of the historical past paired with a dynamic future, drawing on Charlotte’s history for inspiration. This innovation center prioritizes user experience and was designed with ultimate flexibility allowing visiting organizations to come together and develop solutions for today’s toughest business challenges. The grand ceiling gesture was developed to be an anchor for the space, while providing flexibility below, and is a reference to the historic railroads, which helped establish Charlotte as a financial center. The material palette and local artwork is inspired by the legacy and redevelopment of Charlotte’s South End neighborhood.
