Belk Gym Renovation is the conversion of an 130,000 sf former basketball arena into a modern recreational facility to support new curricular and wellness needs for University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s campus community. This project transforms an existing brutalist architecture into an open and dynamic environment, revealing the building’s vibrant internal activity.
