Syngenta’s RTP Innovation Center is a new, agricultural biotechnology research complex designed to spur collaboration and reveal intersecting research among science teams. With sustainability at its core, the project remediated an existing brownfield site as the first stage of construction. Access to exterior forest views, ample daylight, a grand central stair, and wellness areas enhance this energy-generating, world-class laboratory. Interior materials were selected to stimulate the senses. Home to Syngenta’s Global Center of Seeds Research, this building maximizes connections with existing campus facilities through exterior walking paths and a ribbon of community space that anchors the center of the building.
