This new branch library maximizes connections, focuses on human-centered spaces, and anticipates future growth. The library provides a community space whose function is far beyond housing books; as such, the space provides an open environment with a wide variety of gathering spaces for community and human connections including plazas, outdoor seating, light-filled seating areas, flexible furnishings, and multifunctional shared spaces. Reflecting a future-forward mindset, the architectural aesthetic celebrates technology with linear forms, expansive glass, articulated metal panels, and an exterior materials palette of cool grey masonry with silver and white metal panels.
