Art For Art’s Sake (AFAS) is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is “To Build, Educated and Celebrate Community Through Art.”  In order to demonstrate this mission, AFAS set out to create a one of a kind “art park” that reflected the mission while also symbolically paying tribute to the community’s rich history in the arts.  To further facilitate their arts based outreach programs; AFAS wanted to construct a building that could house all of their programmatic needs, while also serving as an extension to the art park.  A wholistic “art campus” open to the community both outside and inside.
