Murray Hall is a build-out of approximately 10,000 SF focused on the idea that the current education environment lacks a means to teach students the art and science of transforming ideas into three-dimensional reality. To address this, these spaces were designed as highly flexible multipurpose spaces, housing a diverse range of tools and programmatic elements. The Makerspace will facilitate hands-on instruction, giving students a structured environment that will help them learn the process of making, and provide the space and technology to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Flexible research laboratories, offices, meeting rooms and collaboration spaces are also included within the program.
