Description:

The Cato Education Center on the campus of the Harris YMCA, consists of a 9,750 SF classroom wing and an 11,750 SF open-air Pavilion.

The classroom wing houses the YMCA’s Preschool, Afterschool and Summer Camp programs. The Pavilion serves as a community gathering space, and a covered open-air sports venue and hub for Summer Camp. The Pavilion also serves as the gateway to the YMCA’s park, playing fields and track beyond, and helps visually separate these areas from existing parking. The Education Center contains 10 classrooms as well as a teaching kitchen which also provides concessions for the playing fields
